Speaking Spirit

Have you ever noticed famous Psychic Mediums saying,
"I'm seeing a ___...,"
"They're showing me a ___, and that's my sign for ___..."

That's how the Spirit-World speaks to us, - through signs.

Some people started hearing, seeing, feeling, speaking Spirit for as long as they can remember and it comes as natural to them as knowing another language. It's like being brought up in a home that speaks English and Spanish, they're bilingual, so to speak.

For other people, it was like growing up knowing English, but when the Spanish Television Station was turned on, someone immediately switched the channel. And now, at MidLife, they want to be fluent in that other language. Except, of course, we're talking about speaking Spirit.

Your Spirit Team is constantly trying to speak to you and are so happy that you've decided to become more and more fluent in SuperNaturalSignLanguage. The first step in learning the language is in knowing your signs. Your signs will probably be different than my signs or another famous Psychic Medium's signs. This is because of your own, individual internal reference system, that is created in your subconscious mind.

When I say snake you see _________.
...the Devil, like in the Garden of Eden.
...a phallic symbol.
...danger! I have a snake phobia.
...fond childhood memories. I kept a snake as a pet.

You get it! Different things mean different things to different people based on their own, individual experiences. That's why Dream Dictionaries don't work. When I dream about a snake, it's the type of dream that's too racy to talk about here.

So, here's a tip:
Choose a word (or create a list of words) that you want to know in Spirit Speak.
Pick words and phrases that will be helpful...  maybe love, go for it, danger...
Focus on one word or phrase at a time and ask your Spirit Team to show you the sign that is the meaning to that word.

Maybe something will pop into your knowing right away.

Ask for confirmation in threes.

For example, if you are learning the Spirit Sign for the word love and Spirit shows you a pink heart, then...

1. you get an email signed in pink hearts ♡♥♡♥♡♥, and then...
2. you hear a song by Pink, and you see her wearing a shirt with hearts on it, and then...
3. you see a billboard with a pink heart on it.

 
You'll know a pink heart is your sign for love!

Raise Your Psychic Energy with Food

I have been tossing around the concept of whether or not to be a Vegetarian (and maybe even a Vegan) for months. Recently, I listened to Doreen Virtue talking with Lisa Williams on blogtalkradio.com. Doreen said that not all people are called to be Vegan. She said that if you require a very high vibration level, high enough to channel spirit like she does, you may want to consider it.

For me, my main reasons to stop eating meat are... 
(1) to raise my spiritual vibration to a higher level for a better connection to my Spirit Team, and 
(2) because I learned how bad raising meat for consumers is for our environment, and
(3) I disagree with the poor, abusive treatment of living animals.

My problem is that I've always been able to loose weight and maintain a healthy BMI by eating a low-carb diet with at least one-third protein per meal. Since cutting meat out of my diet 95% of the time, I've gained 15 pounds. So, now I'm trying to eat more fish and shellfish (still not perfect) to replace the mammals, plus adding more nuts and beans - and I'll let you know...

Why would meat lower your Psychic Energy?
My facebook friend, Michael Banuelos (who's a Vegan) reminded me that you can raise the energy of the food you eat through blessings and gratitude.
But, here are some other considerations:

• Animal protein might carry a negative energy because of how the animal was mistreated in the months and hours before you put it in your mouth, which you absorb.
• Animal protein is bad for our environment, producing more greenhouse gasses than automobiles.
• Animal protein may be polluted with hormones, antibiotics, and carcinogens.

Other foods that have a tendency to 
lower your Psychic Energy are:

• Processed Foods, especially those with flours, sugars, high sodium, (most "white foods") and chemical additives.
• High sugar foods
• 
• Alcoholic beverages.
• Some say cheesy, dairy foods can leave you feeling spiritually clogged.

Foods that raise your Psychic Energy, 
(your spiritual vibration) are:

• Raw, natural fruits and vegetables.
• Foods that have been blessed, given gratitude, and prayed over.
• Top Power-Foods, including almonds, barley, beans, blueberries, cabbage, garlic, kale, oats, pumpkin, salmon and Greek yogurt.
• Super-Foods highest in nutrient density:
• 

We all know what the best for us foods are. 
Those are the same that will raise our Psychic Energy.

Here's a tip: 
If there is a certain food that makes you feel especially great, then try not eating for a few hours before your next session with your Spirit Team, except for that one food right before connecting. 
See if the spiritual communication is stronger and clearer.

How does our Spirit Team speak with us?

One way of looking at it....
People talking to their pets is kind of like the way Spirit communicates with us. Say a person and a dog: Each person will talk to their dog a little differently. As the dog and the person get closer, the dog will read the person's expressions, moods, and key words and commands. I saw this documentary where the person could tell his dog to bring him each one of over 1,000 different toys by name, and the dog knew each and every one. The person would say, go get me your elephant, and the dog would. He'd say, bring me your shark... your ball... and on and on. And the dog knew the name for each of his toys.

Communication. It's not like Spirit are the pet owners and people are their pets. This comparison is just about the communication part. We need to be eager to learn what Spirit is saying to us. The signs and symbols, the supernatural sign-language that my Spirit Team communicates to me will probably be a little different than your Spirit Team communicates to you.

• Connect with your Spirit Team often so you can grow closer and their signs.
• Ask for a sign and look for confirmation in sets of three.
• Ask for your Spirit Team to speak to you through an oracle, like the Tarot.

Why Develop Intuition?

Why develop intuition? Isn't it easier, more exciting, and more accurate to have a professional give you a psychic reading? As a MidLifePsychic, I say, there is no comparison. Developing your own intuition to the point of giving yourself and your loved ones accurate readings is easy, exciting, and way more rewarding.

There are some that prefer professional psychic readings because they might need someone to talk to and the advantage of spiritual counseling. These are valid and important reasons and even psychics visit Psychics sometimes. Another reason some people seek out a professional is that they are intrigued by the accuracy of a professional psychic and are entertained by someone who doesn't know them, knowing so much. It's an awesome experience.

If you're reading this blog, chances are that you are attracted to and being pulled toward developing your own psychic abilities. How exciting! There are so many advantages:

• - tapping into your intuition brings about self awareness and lets you gain insight into a higher perspective.
• - it helps you understand why events have taken place and gives you guidance on how to proceed toward the highest good.

• - it brings you closer to God (Source, Spirit, Goddess...), closer to the Spirit world, your loved ones, to Angles, Spirit Guides, and Guardians... by deepening communication with them and developing real relationships.
• - it gives you a healthy self-confidence, realizing the league of spiritual assistance that is available to you at all times.
• - it helps you gain spiritual, mental, physical, material, and emotional growth, guidance, and healing.
• - being intuitive helps you be your ultimate best and make your dreams come true.
• - it helps you guide loved ones toward their best decisions.
• - it's like the difference from blindness to having sight - you are simply aware of SO much more!
• - AND all of this happens any time you desire, instead of waiting till your appointment for a reading.

Unlike eye-sight, hearing, smelling, etc. psychic intuition requires practice to develop. Psychic professionals, like John Edward and Rebecca Rosen, suggest working with your Spirit-Team to come up with a kind of Supernatural Sign Language. Many "signs" are universal and many others are personal just to you. Keeping an on-going Sign Dictionary is indispensable, and as it grows, so will the ease and clarity of your communications. Choosing an oracle is the fastest way to begin. Tarot, Numerology, Astrology, Runes, I-Ching, and other oracles offer a multitude of symbols to get you started. Choose one that you are most attracted to, as you are drawn toward it for a reason. I always liked Tarot and was shocked at how clearly the symbols spoke to me from the very first time I read the cards.

The time and persistence of a daily practice is what it takes to get you to the level of where you will call yourself a Psychic or an Intuitive. The consistency will give you confidence. And like any important relationship, you'll want to spend time with the Ones you love.

Daily Engagement

When you're in love you can't help but long to spend time being close, talking, getting to know everything about your new love. So it is with our Spirit Guides. To keep the relationship strong we must engage with the Divine Spirit daily. My favorite practice is TranceWriting, a form of channeling via inspired writing. Here's a short synopsis of how it's done:

• First, take your body through a progressive relaxation
• Write a prayer for protection and a prayer to raise your vibration
• Deepen your trance to that of focused relaxation
• TranceWrite your conversation with the Divine ~intention ~listen ~plan
• End with "Amen" and give thanks to the Divine

Daily Engagement with the Divine will take around 30 minutes but it can be successfully accomplished quicker with practice. To get into the optimum trance state, during your TranceWritings always give yourself a post-hypnotic suggestion that will trigger you to the optimum trance state instantly. You'll want to connect for as long as possible and get in touch several times each day. In addition, any time you need to reconnect, to get right with the Divine, or to raise your vibration, sneak off for 5 minutes and TranceWrite.

Trance write directly to the Divine, to your Higher Self, or to your Spirit Guides and Angles. Through the Divine, the Angels and your Spirit guides are always there for you, always on your side, always for the highest good. The benefits of developing and strengthening your divine relationships are like a stone skipping across a lake, rippling love and greater good for all.
